Sarah, accompanied by her friend Stitch, embarks on a playful adventure to thwart the mischievous antics of two whimsical felines, BACA and CUCA. A mystery KITTENS 

First and final pages should introduce students to New Brunswick and the idea that NB and people have changed over time. Each page should then introduce a group that has immigrated to NB. It should include a brief, child friendly history(year/period of time), a picture, a symbol, specific of where the group came from and where they arrived and other simple information. This information should be historically accurate and should include indigenous place names as often as possible. The groups included in this book should be Indigenous Peoples, French Settlers, British Loyalists, Irish Immigrants, Scottish Immigrants, Other European Immigrants, African Canadians, Asian immigrants, Immigrants from the Middle East, Immigrants from Latin America.

The Assessment Adventure: A Journey of Learning

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a little dinosaur named Dino Dan. Dino Dan was a bright green T-Rex with big, friendly eyes and a heart full of adventure. He loved exploring and making new friends.

One sunny morning, Dino Dan set off to explore the Hidden Valley, a magical place filled with dinosaurs. Along the way, he heard a whimpering sound and discovered Tina, a little Triceratops stuck in a bush. Dino Dan freed her, and the two became fast friends, deciding to continue their adventure together.

Deeper into the valley, they heard a loud roar and found Spike, a Stegosaurus trapped under a branch. Working together, they freed him, and Spike joined their journey. The trio laughed, played, and explored, discovering a sparkling waterfall where they splashed and relaxed.

Spike mentioned a secret cave rumored to hold treasure, and they eagerly set off to find it. Inside the dark cave, they were awed by glowing crystals and found a shiny golden egg. Suddenly, the egg cracked open, revealing a tiny baby Pterodactyl. The baby was scared and couldn’t find its mother, so Dino Dan and his friends promised to help.

Calling out through the valley, they eventually spotted a large Pterodactyl soaring in the sky. The baby chirped happily and reunited with its mother. Grateful, the mommy Pterodactyl offered to take them on a ride. Soaring high above the Hidden Valley, they admired the breathtaking view.

As the sun set, Dino Dan, Tina, and Spike returned home, reflecting on their incredible day. They had made new friends, helped others, and learned that teamwork and kindness make every adventure unforgettable. With hearts full of joy, they looked forward to their next escapade.

6. Each letter a story, a sound, and a rhyme,  
Kyndal was learning them all in good time.  

7. By sunset, she sat on her front porch swing,  
And counted each letter she’d learned with a ring:  
“A, B, C, D… I’m almost there!  
I’ll finish tomorrow—I’m halfway, I swear!”  

8. The next day she woke up out of her bed, excited to see  
What other letters her world held for **K**!

…Robin explained, continuing to shake it. A bright beam of light shot out from the feather, and a large screen appeared, resembling a monitor. It displayed a view of one of the poor districts in India. On the screen, a family with several children appeared…

A woman named Mary McLeod Bethune. She had a heart full of kindness and a mind full of dreams. Mary believed that every person, no matter their background, deserved a chance to succeed.
During the Great Depression, times were tough. Many families struggled to make ends meet, and women faced even greater challenges.  Mary knew she had to do something to help her fellow women. With determination,  Mary set out on a mission to make a difference. She spoke up for the rights of women, especially those who were African American like herself. She believed that women should have equal opportunities for education, jobs, and fair treatment.

During this time,  the New Deal was created to help people in need. Mary saw this as a chance to advocate for women's rights. She shared her ideas on how to support women through the New Deal. With  guidance, the New Deal began to include programs that provided jobs and resources for women.They opened up to  education opportunities for young women.
