Once upon a time there was a beetle who loved to tell everyone how fast he could run. “I am the fastest insect in the park,” he would say. His slow and steady friend the snail, tired of hearing him brag, challenged him to a race. “Ha,” the beetle thought to himself, “there is no way a snail could ever win against me.” On the day of the race, all of the insects in the park gathered to watch. The centipede waved a checkered flag to start the race. The beetle zoomed past the starting line as fast as he could, while the snail carefully inched herself forward bit by bit. The beetle cried out “You will never win this race at that slow, slow pace.” Out of breath from running, the beetle eventually reached a small pond of water. He thought, “I have plenty of time. I just will go around the pond.” The beetle sped off on his way. Inch by inch the snail crawled along the path. As she reached the pond, she thought, “It would be much shorter if I could somehow float across the water.” Perhaps I could build a boat. The snail gathered up some leaves, twigs and vine. She fashioned a small boat that helped her glide smoothly across the water of the pond. When she got to the other side, she hopped off the boat and could see all of her friends waiting for her at the finish line. Little by little the snail crept along the path until she crossed the finish line at long last. All of her friends cheered. “Hooray for snail!” they cried. A moment later the beetle came running across the finish line. “I can’t believe you beat me!” he said. “You know,” the snail replied with a smile, “being the fastest isn’t always everything”. “Sometimes if you just slow down for a moment and think about your challenge, you can come up with great solutions.”

The forest grew brighter, and everyone was happier, as they all discovered that kindness is the greatest treasure of all.

After the Lily died, Linette was not going to do her mother's last wish at first but she saw a lot of signs that she should do it 9. and so she did. she joined the competition. 10. Linette was so scared when she got up the stage 11. she felt all the eyes of different animals audience on her 12. she closed her eyes and thought of her mother, Lily. 13. she began to sing 14. she had her eyes closed for the whole time she was singing and thinking of her mom 15. she opened her eyes when she finished. 16. Everyone was so shocked that she had a talent for singing. 17. they stood up and Linette got a standing ovation. 18. it was time to announce the winners 19. Linette was so nervous but she remembered her mother that thought her that it's okay not to win 20. Linette did not win first place but still got a place. With this, she becomes motivated and more confident.

At the bakery, her father bought a cake for the family. They all sat down that evening to enjoy the chocolate cake with sprinkles on top. Later, the little girl asked for a book to read before bed. Her mother handed her the storybook they had just borrowed from the library. In the morning, she looked out the window and noticed a bird chirping on a branch. It wasn’t long before the bluebird flew down to perch on their fence. For lunch, she wanted a sandwich with lots of toppings. Her dad made the turkey sandwich she loved with pickles and mustard. That afternoon, she drew a picture to give to her teacher. Everyone at school admired the painting she had worked so hard on. As the day ended, she snuggled into bed, holding a stuffed animal she had since she was a baby. She smiled as she cuddled the teddy bear that always made her feel safe. And so, the little girl learned that while a begins a story, it’s the that makes it special.

The story tells of a child and mother who have come into a homeless shelter due to domestic violence in their home. The child is nervous about their new home, but a small, scruffy grey and brown dog named Scarlett welcomes the family and tells them about Quanada house. Quanada house is a home for parents and children that people stay at when their home isn't safe. It is a safe place that looks like a big house with an upstairs that has 5 bedrooms. Throughout the story, Scarlett shows the family their room, the dining room and kitchen, and the playroom. Scarlett the shelter dog helps the child make their bed up in their new room and brings toys to help it feel more like home. The child is sad about leaving their home but scarlett makes them feel better. Then they go downstairs and watch tv and eat a snack in the family room. After they eat, they go upstairs and brush their teeth and go to sleep in their temporary home.

Even though it’s hard, she finds comfort in knowing they are still one big, loving family. Sadie was a bright and creative girl who loved animals, art, and softball. Her home was filled with laughter and the playful barks of three dogs and the purrs of four cats. Every day was an adventure with her furry friends. Sadie loved her family, but sometimes she found it hard to have her parents living in two different houses. Even though it was tough, she knew they were still one big, loving family. Sadie often expressed her feelings through her colorful paintings and crafts. Her art was a way to show what was in her heart. Sadie is full of anxiety and gets worried about what people think and going into the big world out there. It was very scary for Sadie. Sadie loved playing softball even though she never felt like she was never good enough. Sadie longed to have more time with friends who often chose other friends over her. She knew her animals were always there to keep her from being alone.

The message of the story is that Life is a long journey with many trials and tribulations with ups and downs. Stay on the path toward love and appreciation and things will turn out great. 13. The lesson or value we want to convey is that When things and or furry beings are against you, there are 10 times more furry beings that are rooting for you. 14. The story tries to teach To keep striving to be the best person you can be. 15. The book should start out with how loving and understanding Mily is. That she loves furry animals. Then we have Pinky that is sabatoging her jouney. the end of the story is how Mily and Pinky become best of friends and continue the galaxy journey together finding new furry friends with Playful tone with an educational style. 16. the writing style should have rhymes 17. How will the story teach or inspire children? To keep striving to be the best person you can be. There is only one YOU in this world and your uniqueness is what the world needs.
