Page 5: Miko and Lizzy are different from their friends because they both have ADHD! Page 6: Miko struggled to stay still in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class. Page 7: Lizzy also struggled in class, she couldn’t focus on her sun safety class (she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework ) because of how fast her thoughts were moving. Page 8: (Miko and Lizzy struggled in class but their ADHD was an advantage!) After visiting Dr Wild, the Wildebeest, Miko and Lizzy learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Page 9: Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tells you what type of insect you are looking at! Page 10: Lizzy enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation. Page 11: Even though Miko and Lizzy had some tough times with their ADHD, they both learnt cool tricks to help them feel better and do their best.

Her curiosity takes her on a journey to discover what meditation is about and finds her learning the marvelous practices of meditation, skills which she is hoping to teach her older brother in an attempt to combat their sibling rivalry. The Arabella Series is based on the quote by the Dali Lama “If every eight year old was taught to meditate, we would achieve world peace in one generation” and is written to bring an awareness of energy healing and practices such as meditation to children around the world. It is my vision to create kind and magical role models for children, to light a spark in them that encourages compassion, forgiveness and love.

Though warned not to explore it, one day, she found a hidden path and followed it into the woods. As she ventured deeper, the trees thickened, and the path disappeared. Mia quickly realized she was lost, with no way to retrace her steps. Suddenly, a small glowing creature named Luma appeared, offering to help her if she passed three trials set by the forest. Mia, having no other choice, agreed. First Trial: The Puzzle of Light Luma led Mia to a clearing filled with scattered stones and a darkening sky full of stars. To pass the trial, Mia had to arrange the stones to reflect the constellations. After a few careful observations and efforts, she succeeded, and the stones glowed softly, lighting her way forward. Second Trial: The Test of Bravery Mia was brought to a rickety bridge spanning a dark chasm. Whispering shadows on the other side tried to scare her, but Mia, though frightened, stayed focused and crossed the bridge, proving her bravery. Third Trial: The Test of Kindness In the final trial, Mia came across a wounded forest creature trapped under a fallen branch. Without hesitation, she freed it and treated its injuries with herbs from the forest, demonstrating her kindness. With the trials complete, Luma guided Mia to the heart of the forest, where the ancient forest spirit revealed itself. As a reward, the spirit gave Mia a small enchanted seed that would connect her to the forest's magic forever. Luma then led Mia safely out of the forest. Grateful for her adventure, Mia planted the seed in her grandmother's garden, and a magical tree grew, a reminder of the day she discovered the forest’s secrets.

In a cozy little house at the edge of town lived a curious Border Collie named Benito and his dad, Rodo. Every night, they shared a special ritual: reading together. Benito wasn't just any dog; he loved books. He would wag his tail excitedly when Rodo picked up a book, and then snuggle next to him on the couch. Their reading adventures took them to faraway lands and magical worlds. From tales of brave knights and dragons to stories of deep sea explorations, each book was a new adventure. Benito listened intently, his eyes fixed on the colorful pictures, occasionally pawing gently at the pages as if trying to touch the characters. Rodo loved these moments too. He cherished the bond that grew stronger with every page they turned together. Sometimes, he would pause and ask Benito what he thought about a character or a story twist. Benito would respond with a soft bark or a nuzzle, as if giving his own opinion.

His eyes were sharp, his legs were fast, his hands were agile, and his mind was even more agile. Aldar-Kos liked to joke and laugh, especially at fools and misers. He had no wealth, but by cunning he more than once got himself a fat sheep for lunch.
