He opened the cupboard and found his best pair, A loaf of white bread with a crusty brown hair. “Now let’s spread butter, nice and smooth,” He grabbed his big knife and made a cool move. With a scoop and a swirl, he spread it with care, “Oh, how I love butter! It’s light as the air!” Next came the veggies, all crunchy and bright, Lettuce and tomatoes, such a lovely sight. He washed them so gently and sliced them with cheer, Stacking them neatly—oh, what fun, oh dear! “Now for the meat!” Sammy clapped with delight, He opened the fridge—what a wonderful sight! Turkey and ham, piled high with some cheese, “Just look at this goodness! I’ll eat it with ease!” “Don’t forget mustard! It adds a big zing!” He squeezed on a dollop—oh, what joy it can bring! Then he topped it with pickles, so crunchy and round, “A yummy sandwich! It’s the best to be found!” He placed the last slice on top with a thud, And gave it a press with a big happy “thud!” “Now, let’s cut it in half, so easy to share, I’ll take one to my friends, with love and with care!” With a plate full of sandwiches, Sammy did grin, “Making a sandwich is such a win-win! The big house had a table in the front yard. it was naptime so they headed home. Tasha didn't want to take a nap so when her mom layed down Tasha snuck out of the house to ride her shiny red trycicle. she knew it was wrong but it was like the bike was calling her name. "Tasha, Tasha." Tasha tried to remember the way that her and her mom took but she got lost. she ran into a hill that she went flying down and the bike flipped and she scraped her leg and tears fell down her eyes. eventually her mom finds her and gave her a talk how important following rules were as well as obeying her parents. the take away from the story is rules are set in place to keep her safe.

When Tina dies, Lisa becomes very sad and withdrawn, she cries a lot and misses her grandmother everyday. Lisa the finds out that Tina left her a special gift before she died, a flower necklace. Everytime Lisa wears the necklace she feels brave and confident.

Lily overhears a conversation between her friend, Oliver the owl, and another animal. Oliver talks about how the Shepherd always takes care of them and that they can trust Him. Lily wonders if she can really trust the Shepherd and asks Oliver how he knows that the Shepherd will always protect them. The Shepherd calls Lily’s name as the sun begins to set, asking her to come to Him. Lily hesitates, feeling unsure. Lily finally decides to go to the Shepherd, who is standing by a large oak tree with His arms open wide. He reassures her with kind words and a gentle smile. The Shepherd leads Lily and the other sheep to a cozy spot by a brook where they rest. Lily feels the peace and comfort of the Shepherd’s care. Lily reflects on how safe and loved she feels. She realizes that the Shepherd will always be there to guide and protect her, no matter what. Lily trusts the Shepherd fully from that day forward and follows Him wherever He leads, knowing she is safe in His care. Lily feels grateful and thanks the Shepherd, understanding that she can trust Him with all her heart. She feels secure in His love. The story ends with Lily peacefully resting, knowing that God’s love and care will always be there to guide her through life.
