Meet Donovan, a lively boy who loves running, jumping, and flapping his hands when he gets excited. One day at school, Donovan felt extra bouncy as he entered the classroom. His teacher, Ms. Carter, began talking about feelings, and Donovan’s excitement grew—soon his hands were flapping in the air! Some classmates noticed and wondered, "Why does Donovan flap his hands?" Ms. Carter smiled and said, "Everyone shows their feelings differently. Some people cheer, others jump, and Donovan flaps. That’s okay!" Donovan felt proud, knowing his flapping was just how he showed excitement. Then, Ms. Carter introduced a game called Superhero Breathing to help the class calm down when big feelings got too much. She stood tall, breathing in deeply and exhaling slowly. Donovan tried it too. He stood up, took a deep breath like a superhero, and felt his energy calm down, but he still felt strong. His classmates thought it was so cool, they joined in, practicing superhero breathing together. They learned that everyone expresses feelings in different ways, and that’s something special. Donovan still loved his super flap, but now he had superhero breathing for when he needed it. The class kept practicing together whenever their feelings got big. By the end of the day, Donovan realized his greatest superpower was just being himself. Ms. Carter reminded them, “Our differences make us unique.” Donovan felt proud of his super flap and his breathing skills. His classmates celebrated their own special ways of showing feelings too. Feeling proud and unstoppable, Donovan knew that with superhero breathing and being himself, he could handle any big feelings that came his way. 22 pages

Cellia lived in Bodyville, a place full of life and energy. Though she was tiny, she felt part of something much bigger. She was a special cell with a lot of potential, ready to discover her role in the grand scheme of life. --- **A Time to Grow** Cellia began her journey in the G1 phase, a time for growth. She gathered nutrients and built up her strength, like getting ready for a big event. Her internal machinery, like mitochondria and ribosomes, worked hard to prepare her for what was coming next. --- **The Dance of Creation** When the S phase arrived, Cellia’s DNA started to duplicate. This process was like making a copy of an important document. Enzymes helped her DNA unwind and replicate, ensuring she would be ready for the next steps. --- **On the Brink of Change** In the G2 phase, Cellia was ready for the final preparations before division. Her DNA was doubled, and everything inside her was set for the big event. It was a tense time, like waiting before a big leap, but she needed to ensure everything was perfect. --- **Division and Multiplication** The moment of mitosis came. Cellia’s DNA condensed into chromosomes, and she split into two cells. This process ensured that Bodyville would keep growing and healing, creating two cells from one. --- **The Power of Diversity** In meiosis, Cellia experienced a special kind of division. Her chromosomes paired up and exchanged parts, creating genetic diversity. This was like mixing different colors to make something unique. The result was four new cells, each different from the others, ready to contribute to the future. --- **A Legacy of Change** By the end of meiosis, Cellia had created four unique cells. Each had half the original number of chromosomes and was ready to join with another cell to create new life. Cellia’s journey showed that through both mitosis and meiosis, life grows, adapts, and evolves. ---

1. In a colorful elementary classroom, Mr. Darfi clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention. “Class, I have exciting news!” he announced with a bright smile. “Our new library corner is finally ready for you to explore!” 2. A chorus of cheers erupted as Micha, Christian, Peter, Abigail, Avisena, and Alvaro rushed toward the cozy corner filled with books. The shelves were lined with colorful covers, each one holding a new adventure. “Wow! So many books!” Micha exclaimed, running his fingers along the spines. The students took the books and read them. 3. After a while, he gathered them in a circle. “Let’s share our favorite parts,” he encouraged. Micha’s eyes sparkled. “I love the adventure! The boy in my book explores jungles and mountains.” Christian spread his arms like wings. “I wish I could fly too! Imagine soaring above the clouds.” “I want to grow my own magical garden,” Abigail said, clasping her hands together. “Wouldn’t it be amazing?” Peter sat up straight. “I’d love to be a brave prince, just like in my book.” Alvaro nudged Avisena. “The bear and the bird remind me of us. Even though they’re different, they’re still best friends.” 4. Mr. Darfi nodded, his heart full. “That’s the magic of books. They show us that we all have special stories to tell. And most importantly, they remind us that everyone belongs.” The children smiled at each other, feeling proud of who they were. “We’ll share our stories too!” Mr. Darfi beamed. “That’s the spirit. When we share our stories, we make the world a better place.” And with that, the children turned back to their books, ready to discover more adventures together.
