Rusty had a newspaper route and every day when he wojuld ride by Tuffy's house, Tuffy would follow him. He followed him on his route everyday and even walked him to and from school. This is a children's book about a group of 4 best friend ocean explorers who call themselves The Seabirds. They're all girls, ages 6, 10, 10 and 14 and live in a coastal town named Blue Harbor. They spend every day after school in their tree house hideout which overlooks the ocean as they plan the afternoon's adventure. They love nature and want to protect it, building friendships based on exploration, the ocean, adventures, and asking questions about conservation and pollution of each other. They are like a team of climate saving, pollution fighting explorers who build solid friendships with each other. this will be part of a larger series called The Seabirds and each book will explore tackling different environmental problems like microplastics, ocean acidification, etc. This is the first book in the series.

There was heavy rain outside the window. A little girl named Lola looked out the window. It was dark outside and almost nothing was visible because of the rain. Suddenly she heard the door creak, her closet opened, and strange sounds began to come from it. The girl got scared and climbed onto the bed and hid under the blanket. Curiosity took over and the girl looked out, and she saw a kind monster who closed the window, which opened due to the strong wind, and waved his hand at her. Now Lola knew that she had her own kind monster in her closet.

2nd Grade Version To understand why the American Revolution happened, we need to look back at the years from 1754 to 1763. During this time, the British and the French were fighting in a war on land that is now part of the United States. This war is called the French and Indian War. The British wanted to control more land, and the French wanted to keep their land. Many Native Americans chose to help either the British or the French during this war. In 1759, British soldiers went to a city called Québec in Canada and won a big battle there. They took over another city called Montréal the next year. After that, there weren't many big battles left between the British and the French in North America. The fighting mostly stopped by 1763 when a peace agreement called the Treaty of Paris was signed. Why did the British start taxing the colonists, and why did this make them mad? The British government made laws and taxes that affected the colonists. Many colonists felt proud to be British, but they believed they had rights that the king should protect. They didn't like the Stamp Act, which was a new tax. In Virginia, some leaders, called the House of Burgesses, said that the British Parliament shouldn’t be taxing them. In 1765, the prime minister of Britain was George Grenville. He created the Stamp Act because he needed money to pay for British soldiers in North America. He thought the colonists should help pay for these soldiers who were protecting them. At first, the British leaders were surprised by how upset the colonists were. Grenville did not listen to their complaints and was eventually replaced in 1766. A leader named George Washington fought in the French and Indian War along with the British. He helped lead soldiers against the French. He became a well-known leader and was even elected to help make laws in Virginia.

Nylon is having issues embracing his natural curly locks. Nylon has tried everything to cover his natural curly hair from wearing baseball caps, pulling hoodies over his head with the drawstring tightly. Nylon thought to himself one night maybe if I spray my head with water and hold my hands on top of my head for 10 minutes my hair would flatten, while this did make Nylon's hair less poofy, by the time morning arrived Nylon hair was curlier and puffer than ever. Nylon figured the only other option he had was to ask his father if he could get his haircut. So, one Saturday morning Nylon's father took him to the local barbershop to get a haircut. Although this is what Nylon thought was going to be life changing, he still didn't feel any different, eventhough his hair was now gone. When Nylon returned to school on Monday all the kids were looking and pointing not quite the response Nylon was looking for, one of his classmates Syer asked him "Heyyyy, why did you cut your hair? "I thought your hair was really cool looking, I wish my hair would curl like that." Nylon gave a slight smile but on the inside he felt confused, but realized that none ever told him that they did not like his locks, no one ever made fun of him that he had extra curly hair, but instead it was his insecurities about his locks that made him feel that everyone else felt the exact same way that he did. From that day on Nylon realized sometimes being different is what makes us all be unique. Nylon went back home and told his dad that he thinks he will let his hair grow back.

Carly-Rae is a young ballerina recieves an invitation to practice. But when she shows up it ends up being football practice and she gets all bent out of shape. But I keep showing up. Eventually I start realizing I have to get some sort of padding, so I make some out of stuff i have at home and it works for a bit but doesn’t hold up very well. And I kind of figure out how to get by in the game. Eventually tho it just gets to be to much and the padding breaks down and I just stop showing up. That’s where I am now. Just hiding. But eventually the ballerina will figure out how to just do ballet in the football field

Dash's best friends were a family of chickens: Mama Hen and her fluffy chicks, each a little ball of yellow feathers. a sneaky weasel appeared near the chicken coop Dash noticed the weasel and barked loudly Seeing Dash's bravery, the weasel decided it was not worth the risk and ran away into the bushes. The chickens peeked out from under Mama Hen’s wings, safe and sound. Dash wagged his tail, satisfied and happy.
