John Jr and Durga found the verse about the Armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18. They decided to break the verse down to better understand it. 3.The verse started out "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [wiles of the devil. " John Jr asked Durga if he knew how to be strong in the Lord. Durga said that Your spirit thrives on being connected to the earth, the world around you and to others. 3. Then John Jr explored the meaning of the verse , "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Durga didn't understand the Flesh and blood part. John Jr explained that the battle is spiritual, not physical. He says that the enemies we face are not people or objects, but rather an unseen spiritual enemy. 4. The last part of the verse is "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." John Jr told Durga that they needed to stand against evil by Being Strong in the Lord., Standing on God's Word, Don't Lose Heart and Standing in Faith. 5. John Jr and Durga decide that they would try putting on the armor of God by reading and praying God's word, and remembering that God's righteousness protects them, and that they can have faith in his promises. John Jr and Durga decided that their daily practices would include prayer, scripture study, journaling, acts of kindness, exercise, and associating with friends of high standards

One day, a rabbit named Cici got bored of eating the wild spinach around her yard. The spinach looked unattractive, even though her mother often gave the plants fertilizer. Cici walked restlessly, she kept looking for delicious food whether it was vegetables or fruit around the forest, but she never found it. Finally she came to a carrot field that she thought was unguarded by humans. She broke through and enjoyed the carrots which turned out to taste very sweet and fresh. “Ciciii, enough and come back here!” Kiki and Lulu approached Cici from outside the fence, and forbade her from continuing to eat the carrots. Cici didn't care and ran away, but she was caught in a trap net that was indeed in the field. Lulu and Kiki finally helped Cici untie the net, finally Cici was free from the trap and ran with Lulu and Kiki away from the field.

All of his possessions fitted into the two tubs. 6. When Phil was packing his clothes into the tubs, he was thinking how much stuff he had left behind at home. He was also thinking of little he needed on his visit to the tropical island. 7. Each day as Phil took out something to wear he reflected on what it felt like to live with so little. 8. It felt good. Phil felt free! Life was simple and uncluttered. 9. Little did the tubs know that they had become a symbol of a new way of living for Phil. 10. They had taught Phil a very important lesson, to not collect to much stuff but to live simply.

Pictures of birds, eyes, and shapes tell stories about the pharaoh’s life. Page 6 They quietly walk into a room with a sarcophagus, a big stone box that holds a mummy. “This mummy was once a great ruler,” says Rami. Sam and Ava feel a little scared, but also very curious! Page 7 At midday, they visit the busy market. People trade goods like wheat, dates, and cloth. “We use boats to carry our goods along the Nile,” explains Rami. Sam and Ava see bright, woven baskets full of fruit. Page 8 It is time to say goodbye. Rami waves. “Come again!” Sam and Ava open the magic book and zoom back home. Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived a little lioness named Arion. Arion wasn’t the biggest lioness, but she had a big, brave heart. One bright morning, Arion woke up and stretched her little paws. “Today is a good day for an adventure!” she roared softly. She walked through the tall grass and noticed something strange—her friend, the little bunny named Luna, was stuck on a big rock! “Oh no, Luna! Are you okay?” Arion asked, running to her side.
