Granny explained faith is confidence or trust in God and his promises, based on evidence but without absolute proof other than his written word, which is the Bible. Granny shared the Bible verse in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen". Granny went on to explain that our faith Belief is that God exists, loves us, and sent his son to save us and by showing a commitment by believing that Christ can save us, and how we should putour lives in his hands 2. John Jr and Hopsi wanted a better understanding of faith, so Granny told them that Faith is also complementary to hope. Faith is grounded in the reality of the past, while hope looks to the future. Without faith, there is no hope, and without hope, there is no true faith.Granny told John Jr and Hopsi that they must have a strong trust. 3. Granny went on to say how important the Truth is and urged John Jr and Hopsi to be truthful. She explained that Faith is acting on the truth, whether we feel the truth or not, whether we like the truth or not, whether we agree with the truth or not. 4. John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would practice their faith by HEEARING and they would Listen to God's Word by reading Bible and listening in Sunday School at church. They said they would PRAY and connect with God. John Jr told Hopsi that they couldTALK to friends about their faith. Hopsi said they could LIVE out their faith by Worshipping God and Jesus.

The Dimalanta were a strange family that lived in Sinagtala, a busy town with sunshine-colored houses and lots of laughter in the streets. Mr. Dimalanta was an engineer with a deep voice. Mrs. Dimalanta was a ball of energy who loved polka dots, and their three kids, Savier, Sharry, and Lorry, were not getting along at all. The oldest child, Savier, was a boy who always rushed through doors, dropping things and mumbling "sorry" as he went. Sharry, the middle child, knew many exciting things but often just blurted them out without thinking about what they meant. Lorry, the youngest, usually had temper tantrums and felt very entitled. Mira, relieved that her sister was okay, forgave her and they continued with their birthday celebrations. As the day came to an end, Mira tucked Maha into bed and kissed her goodnight. As Maha drifted off to sleep, she thought about how her older sister always took care of her and protected her. She realized that she should listen to her sister and respect her wisdom. From that day on, Maha and Mira's bond grew stronger, and Maha learned to appreciate her sister's guidance and love. And as they grew older, they became the best of friends, always looking out for each other in their magical land

deux petites filles s'enfoncent dans la foret, envoyée par leur mere pour aller cueillir des fraises pour la tarte qu'elle est en train de préparer. elle finissent par voir une vieille petite cabane avec de la fumée qui sort par la cheminée. la plus grande dahlia veut passer son chemin, la plus petite mya tres téméraire, veut absolument voir s'il y a quelqu'un dedans. elles se chamaillent à ce sujet quand tout a coup la porte s'ouvre dans un grincement. mais tjrs personne. il fait noir a l'intérieur. mais mya veut entrer et dahlia non. mya court et entre, dahlia a peur pour elle et la suit. a l'intérieur, une vieille dame au nez crochu et au chapeau de sorcière est en train de faire bouillir de l'eau sur la marmite sur le feu. elle dit bonjour aux filles et demandes si elles sont perdues, et si elles ont faim. dahlia dit non et non, mya dit oui et oui, au grand désespoir de dahlia. la sorcière sourit et dit que ca tombe bien, qu'elle prépare une bonne soupe. 10 fois, elle demande alors aux filles si elles aiment tel ou tel ingrédient. lorsque elle commence sa phrase on dirait qu'elle parle d'un ingrédient délicieux, et Mya crie OUI j'adore ! et Dahlia dit non. par exemple la sorcière demande si elles aiment le caramel MOU .... (ici mya dit OUI Dahlia dit NON) puis la sorcière termine : CHES grillées ! (= mouches grillées). pareil avec les "vers gluants" et 8 autres du meme genre. a la fin, la sorcière verse un grand bol de soupe et demande laquelle en veut. sans attendre de réponse elle se dirige vers mya car elle est persuadé qu'elle va dire OUI. Mais non mya dit NON, finalement je n'aime pas les mouches grillées, ni les vers gluants, ni les .... (tous les 10). et puis surtout, NON je mangerais jamais quelque chose que me donne un inconnu, encore moins une sorcière dans les bois. et les filles s'enfuient en riant.
