Once upon a time there lived a cheerful girl named Zlata. She always smiled, helped everyone around her and was the best baker in the village. One day she baked a whole basket of fragrant buns and decided to go to her grandmother in the neighboring village. On the way, Zlata met a monkey and treated him to a bun, and the Monkey gave Zlata a banana. Then Zlata met a chicken and treated her to a bun, and the chicken gave her a golden egg. Then Zlata went to the river and treated Beaver to a bun, and Beaver helped Zlata move to the other side to the village where her grandmother lived. They met happily and sat down to drink tea and buns.

It was a chilly December morning, and the Johnson family was busy setting up their Christmas tree. Dad, Kendrick Sr. hung the last ornament and asked, 'Who's ready for some fun in the snow?' The kids, Kendrick Jr., Anna-Louise, and Kenton, shouted with excitement, eager to go outside. But before they could head out, Mom, Robin had some exciting news to share. 'Look, I'm making a baby angel,' he giggled. Robin watched her children play and said, 'Aww, Kenton, that's so sweet.' Kenton then began to build a tiny snowman and proudly declared, 'Look, I'm making a baby snowman.' After playing in the snow, the family went inside for hot chocolate and cookies. Robin pulled out a secret envelope while everyone sipped their drinks. Kendrick Sr. asked, 'Alright everyone, who wants to open the envelope?' The kids shouted, 'Me! Me! Me!' Robin smiled and said, 'Let's all open it slowly together.' As they opened the envelope, they saw a tiny card with big blue letters saying, 'It's A BOY!!!' The family hugged each other tightly, and Anna-Louise exclaimed, 'I'm having another brother!'
