He is rescued by the mer people who take him to their underwater kingdom where there is air and he can breathe. He learns how to be good, and not to steal people's treasure. The mer people return him to the surface and to land. He is very happy and he spends his life helping people.

Karsen helped clean the house, sweeping the floors and dusting the shelves. She also joined her grandma in the garden, watering plants and pulling out weeds together. Children are excited to borrow the new book. we follow one boy on his week with the library book reading it in the back of his car, at dr appointments and at bedtime. When the boy returns the book to the library a new boy checks it out. This boy is named Edward. Edward does not take care of the library book. He leaves it on the floor. A dog picks up the book in its mouth and carries it outside. Edwards mom finds the book outside and puts it in a dark closet. The library book is so sad. He sits in the dark closet for weeks until a letter comes from the library saying "Please return this book to the library, if this book has gone missing, please replace the book so others can enjoy it" Edward forgot all about the library book! He looks in all the regular places, on his bookshelf, under his bed. He can't find it anywhere! Finally Edwards mom tells Edward, "Maybe we need to start looking in some weird places" Edward looks on top of the fridge, behind the computer, even in his dirty clothes basket. Edward finally opens up the closet to find the lost library book! Edward and his mom bring the book back to the library where a young girl promptly checks it out again

Tasha is a 6 year old young pretty black girl with wavy hair. One day her Mom woke her up with a surprise. It was a shiny red tricycle and Tasha was Tasha and her Mom went for a bike ride through the neighborhood. Tasha peddled as fast as she could. They approached what they called the candy lady. The big house had a table in the front yard. it was naptime so they headed home. Tasha didn't want to take a nap so when her mom layed down Tasha snuck out of the house to ride her shiny red trycicle. she knew it was wrong but it was like the bike was calling her name. "Tasha, Tasha." Tasha tried to remember the way that her and her mom took but she got lost. she ran into a hill that she went flying down and the bike flipped and she scraped her leg and tears fell down her eyes. eventually her mom finds her and gave her a talk how important following rules were as well as obeying her parents. the take away from the story is rules are set in place to keep her safe.
