From a young age, I was captivated by the unique buildings in the village. The Song Ling Tang Gong Hall stands solemnly, with various exquisite wood carvings and murals showcasing the long history and profound culture of the Tang family. The thick walls of the old village bear witness to our ancestors’ commitment to and protection of this tranquil home. The continuous incense in the temple evokes a strong sense of local customs. I was fortunate to grow up in buildings like the Shik Lu and Chong Him Hall, which blend traditional Chinese features with Western architectural elements. The winding stairs and airy terraces all highlight the unique charm of this cultural fusion. Even in today's age of towering buildings, Lung Yeuk Tau retains its rustic village charm. Villages like Wing Ning and New Walled Village still preserve their circular wall layouts, and one can occasionally catch a glimpse of ancient wells in the alleys, making it feel as if we've traveled back to ancient times. During major festivals, we ring the heavy bronze bell in front of the familiar Tin Hau Temple, hoping for the Goddess of Heaven's blessings. The historic sound of the bell seems to tell the stories of this land. Perhaps it is these historical buildings that nurture the cultural foundation of us, the children of Lung Yeuk Tau. We have personally experienced the unique humanistic atmosphere here since childhood; it has deeply imprinted itself in our hearts, becoming an indispensable part of us. Lung Yeuk Tau, nestled beneath these beautiful mountains, carries a long history and accumulates rich culture. We, the young people who grew up here, will continue to defend this peaceful homeland, ensuring its brilliance shines forever.

Once upon a time, in a vast and lush green forest, there lived a wise tortoise whom everyone respected. His name was Kavi. Kavi was old but very knowledgeable. Kavi lived by the edge of a great lake. His home was hidden inside an old log covered in moss. The animals of the forest loved visiting him because Kavi always told interesting stories and gave wise counsel. One day, a big argument broke out in the forest. The rabbit, Tikur, accidentally took the acorns that the squirrel, Mirmir, had collected to his own burrow. Mirmir was very angry about this, and the animals of the forest were divided. Some supported Tikur, while others sided with Mirmir. The argument grew louder, and the animals started shouting at each other. Finally, they all decided to go see Kavi. The wise tortoise asked everyone to listen carefully and then began to speak slowly: “My dear friends, first of all, we must stay calm. Tıkır, did you take Mırmır’s acorns on purpose, or was it a mistake?” Tıkır bowed his head in sadness and said, “It was not my fault. I only picked up the ones that had fallen to the ground and took them to my burrow, thinking they were mine.”Kavi smiled and turned to Mırmır: “Mırmır, my friend, we now see that Tıkır made a mistake. But would you rather forgive this mistake, or continue fighting?”Mırmır thought for a moment and then sighed: “I know my friend didn’t do this with bad intentions. But I was very upset when I lost my acorns.” Kavi nodded and spoke wisely: “We all make mistakes from time to time. What matters is that we acknowledge our mistakes and learn to forgive one another.” Tıkır immediately stood up and promised Mırmır that he would collect plenty of acorns for him. Mırmır forgave him, and the two old friends made peace. From that day on, whenever there was a disagreement in the forest, the animals remembered Kavi’s wise words. The greatest lesson Kavi had taught them was about friendship and understanding.

One bright morning, Donkey, Fredrick the Frog, Marble the white bear, and Big Bear Brown packed their bags. They were moving to a new home in a forest far, far away. Though they were excited, they also felt a little nervous. As they walked along the winding path, Donkey kicked a small stone and sighed. "What if we don't like our new home?" he asked. Fredrick the Frog hopped onto Donkey's back. "Don't worry, Donkey! We’ll make it fun, together!" His cheerful croak made Donkey smile. Marble the white bear, soft and fluffy as snow, was thinking too. "Will we make new friends there?" she asked quietly. Big Bear Brown, towering over everyone with his big, warm smile, gave Marble a gentle pat. "Of course we will," he said. "As long as we're together, anywhere can feel like home." When they arrived at the forest, everything seemed new and strange. The trees were taller, the grass was softer, and the birds sang songs they'd never heard before. "Let's explore!" Fredrick called, hopping ahead. He found a small pond with sparkling water. Marble splashed her paws in it, giggling. Donkey and Big Bear Brown joined in, and soon they were all laughing together. As the sun began to set, they found a cozy clearing with tall trees and soft moss—just the perfect spot for their new home. Donkey set up a comfy tent, Marble gathered some flowers, Fredrick built a small fire, and Big Bear Brown unpacked their snacks. “This place isn’t so bad after all,” Donkey said, feeling happier. Mowgli realized that the jungle was his home, and he chose to stay with his animal family. And so, Mowgli lived happily in the jungle, surrounded by his animal friends who loved and cared for him.
