We named him Almond because he is as sweet as a nut. From that moment on, he became a part of our family. We showered him with love and care, making sure he was well-fed and had a warm place to sleep. Almond quickly adapted to his new home and became the center of our world. The game was going well for the Cleveland Guardians. The time came for John Jr to go up and bat. The first pitch, John Jr swung too high and missed the ball. The second pitch, John Jr was focused and hit the ball far out in right field. John Jr took off running and made it safely to 2nd base. 5. The next batter came out. He ended up sending the ball into the bleachers and made a home run. John Jr and that batter both made it back to the home plate safely. 6. John Jr returned back to dugout and all the teammates gathered around to praise him for a good job. The players give John Jr and Vasi a souvenir of the Guardians as an appreciation token. The Guardians beat the Reds and the game was over. 7. John Jr and Vasi leaves Progressive Field and head home. John Jr and Vasi talk about how fun it was all the way home.

He says goodbye to his new friends and grabs the gem. He closes his eyes again and when he opens them, he is back in bed waking up to a new day. He is no longer afraid of the dark and going to sleep as he is excited for what adventures are in store for him when he goes to sleep with his magical gem.
