Santa brought Cheryl some new shoes for Christmas, but when she tried them on they weren’t comfortable because they were elf shoes. Cheryl tried many different ways to fix the elf shoes. She tried to cook the elf shoes in the oven but they just melted. She’d ran over the elf shoes with the car but they were flattened. She sent the elf shoes to Mars in a rocket ship but they didn’t come back. She left the elf shoes in the alley hoping a shoeless person would take the elf shoes but nobody took the elf shoes. After a few days she tried the elf shoes on again and this time, to Cheryl's surprise, they were perfect. She couldn't understand why the elf shoes started to feel better after a few days had passed but from that day forward she wore her elf shoes everywhere.

Miko the Meerkat and Lou the lizard live in the hot and dry Kalahari Desert, they are best friends (Miko and Lou must be in one picture). Miko loves popping and looking out of burrows to explore the Kalahari. Lou is a clever lizard; she loves to imagine the stars in the sky so much that she sometimes forgets to listen in class. He was always digging burrows and often got distracted during his How to Spot a Predator class with the other meerkats. Lou also struggled in class. She couldn’t focus on her Sun Safety class with the other lizards because she was easily distracted by the clouds in the sky and often forgot to take down her homework.After visiting Dr Wild the Wildebeest, Miko and Lou learnt to do things that would help them to manage their ADHD. Miko became the captain of the sand surfing team and had the fastest record in the desert! Miko was also top of his insect tracking class and created the first ever pair of insect spy goggles that could see different insect tracks and tell you what type of insect you are looking at!Lou enjoyed stargazing so much that she was top of the class for astronomy and could name every constellation (Miko and Lou need to be in the desert, in scenes like the class there needs to be other meerkat and lizards, not children) . They have support from their parents, teachers and classmates. But the best part was that they could count on each other!

I am outside on the streets begging for food. Someone walks past me and says “eww.” I then start crying, in the background there is a bread pop up where someone is selling bread. I walk past the bread stand, over to a brick wall. I lean against the wall, and think of a plan. The plan is to do multiple crimes so i can be arrested, I want to be arrested because i will get food and safety in the jail cell. I then go back to my spot where i begged at and slept. Today is the day where i commit crimes, first, i steal some bread, then I spray paint a wall, then i steal again jacket. The cops find me and I’m arrested. I am happy but stressed at the same time. I am now in jail and have air conditioning and food.

She searched her pockets, purse, and shopping bags, but the key was nowhere to be found. As she started to panic, her young neighbor Emma, an eight-year-old with a cheerful smile, noticed her distress and asked what was wrong. Though not accustomed to praying, Mrs. Green agreed, touched by Emma’s confidence. They sat together on the steps, and Emma led a simple, heartfelt prayer, asking God to help them find the lost key. Mrs. Green felt a sense of comfort and hope after the prayer, even though she wasn’t sure what to expect. Afterward, the two of them retraced Mrs. Green’s steps, searching once again in the areas they had already checked. Just as Mrs. Green was about to lose hope, Emma called out from near the bushes by the front steps. There, hidden in the leaves, was the missing key. Mrs. Green was overjoyed and couldn’t believe it. She hugged Emma and thanked her, feeling grateful not only for finding the key but also for the reminder of the power of prayer. Emma simply smiled and said she believed God had helped them. From that moment on, Mrs. Green never forgot the lesson Emma had taught her. Whenever she encountered a problem, whether big or small, she remembered to turn to prayer for guidance, just like Emma had shown her. And remarkably, things always seemed to work out in the end.
