With the help of Space X, Elon devised a plan and an astroid blaster to shoot it out of the sky or to make it into a much smaller astroid 9. They decided that the threat was so imminent that something had to be done quickly 10. Elon and Space X launched their astroid blasters at 2007 FT3 11. The astroid was blasted out of the sky 12.
