He flew down quickly, took the roti from Monty, and flew up to the tall pipal tree in the courtyard. Page 5: In the pipal tree, a beautiful peacock named Percy saw the roti in Caw-Caw's beak. Percy’s feathers fluttered with excitement. Just then, Bhaunkoo started barking loudly from below, “Bhaun, Bhaun!” Page 6: Caw-Caw got scared by Bhaunkoo’s barking. Fran and Jim go to the beach. Fran’s parents and Jim’s parents are there. Fran, Jim and both of their parents are from the Turks and Caicos Islands. Fran takes off her slippers and feels the sand between her toes. Jim runs towards the sea; he couldn’t wait to get into the water. Before reaching the water, Jim pauses, looks around and shouts to Fran to go into the water with him. Fran starts to run towards Jim then stops before reaching the water. Jims asks “what’s wrong? Don’t you want to go swimming with me?”. Fran looked a little sad and said “I want to go swimming but I don’t know how. I am afraid.” Jim tells Fran, “don’t be afraid, I have something that can help you to learn how to swim. Come with me.” Jim then runs towards his parents and shouts to his mother, “mommy, can you please give me the arm floats?”. Jim’s mother took out the arm floats from her beach bag, and gave them to Jim. Jim gave one to Fran and said “here, blow that float up and I will blow this one up”. Fran and Jim each blew up one arm float. Then Jim said “Now slide these up your arms. I will help you. They will help you to float in the water.” After the floats were on her little upper arms, she held out her arms and started to walk towards the water with Jim. Jim went into the water up to his knees first. Jim then turned and reached out his hand to Fran and said “come in the water with me”. Fran held his hand and walked into the water with him. As Fran went further into the water, she then exclaimed to Jim “I can’t feel the bottom with my feet anymore!”. Jim then laughed and said, “that’s because you are floating”. Then Fran realized that the arm floats were helping her to float. She then laughed and shouted to her parents saying “Mommy, Daddy, I am floating!”. Her parents waved to her smiling and Jim’s parents were also smiling. Fran and Jim then had fun laughing and playing in the water together, while both of their parents looked on, smiling. Fran and Jim had the best beach day ever.

You’re going to jail for this!” Max’s eyes widened in fear. He knew he was in trouble, but he wasn’t about to let Ellie catch him so easily. In a flash, Max dashed through the jungle, but Ellie was quick. She caught him and locked him inside a sturdy cage at the jungle’s jail. Max sat in the cage, feeling a little scared and guilty. But, being the clever monkey he was, he didn’t stay down for long. As he looked around, he noticed something special in his pocket – a single, ripe banana. It seemed small, but Max had an idea. “I may be locked up, but I won’t give up,” he thought, smiling slyly. With his sharp teeth, he quickly peeled the banana and used the peel to carefully slip through the small cracks of the cage. It took time, but Max was patient. Finally, with a little wiggle and a lot of determination, Max managed to break free! As Max scampered out of the cage, he heard Ellie approaching, but by then, he was already far away, laughing at his own cleverness. He learned a valuable lesson that day. No matter how tough life gets, there’s always a way out if you don’t give up. The Moral of the Story: Never give up, even when things seem impossible. With clever thinking and determination, you can always find a way to overcome challenges.
