Один из подростков почувствовал, как воздух стал ледяным, его тело как будто замерзло на месте. Остальные начали паниковать, но когда они попытались вернуться, тоннель стал странно менять форму, и они не могли найти выход. В какой-то момент свет погас, и оставшиеся в темноте, не слыша друг друга, начали бегать по бесконечным коридорам. Когда они наконец выбрались, то оказалось, что прошло несколько дней, хотя они думали, что это было всего пару часов. The winner will be crowned the Champion of the Forest and receive a basket of the finest fruits!” The news excited everyone. Each one believed they could win, but the snake boasted the loudest. Snake: “None of you stand a chance! I’ll slither faster than all of you!” he hissed. 2. all the animals gathered at the starting line. The bird flew swiftly ahead, the rabbit hopped with energy, the squirrel zigzagged skillfully, and the snake slithered smoothly. Meanwhile, the fish swam along the sparkling stream that ran beside the path. 3. The racers came to a wide muddy patch. The snake struggled, his body slipping in the mud. Further along, the rabbit’s paw got caught in a thorn bush. She cried out. Rabbit: “Help! I’m stuck!” The bird saw her and hesitated. Bird: “If I stop, I might lose!” But the squirrel heard her too and quickly rushed over. Rabbit:. “Thank you!” Snake: “You’re wasting time helping others!” 4. Suddenly, there path blocked by a fallen log. The snake tried to push the log away but couldn’t. He looked around for help, but none of the animals trusted him because of his earlier boasting. Just then, the rabbit and squirrel arrived and helped. Snake: “Why would you help me?” Bird: “Because helping others is what makes us stronger,” 5. Finally, all the animals raced toward the finish line together. To everyone’s surprise, the fish, who had steadily swum along the whole race, crossed first! The snake, though he didn’t win, felt happy for the fish and thanked the squirrel and rabbit. Snake: “I was wrong to be so proud. Kindness and teamwork matter more than winning.” From that day on, the snake became a better friend, and the animals of the forest learned that working together brings the greatest rewards.

And Ted, I’ll leave them here if you're hungry, but Ted is for cuddling, not eating!” “The next night, I hear it again: ‘Scratch, grrrrr, scratch!’. But this time I’m ready! I peek over the edge of the bed and wait.” “And then… I see it! A little nose pokes out, sniffing at the cookies, and then… a fat fluffy body and long fluffy tail! It’s not a monster at all! It’s my cat, Oscar!” “Oscar creeps from under the bed, stretches and hops right into my lap! I can’t believe it. The monster was my cat all along!” “Now, every night when I hear scratching under the bed, I smile because I know it’s not a monster. It’s just my cat, and he’s my friend now.” “Now, instead of getting scared, I just pat the bed and say, ‘Come on out, Oscar!’ And he does. Day after day, they shared one last giggle, Macy would laugh, and Earl’s tail would wiggle. Then one day, he didn’t appear, And Macy missed him, her heart filled with fear. On moving day, she waited and sighed, Hoping to see Earl just one more time. Then, at the window, to her surprise, There was Earl with bright, sparkling eyes! But this time, Earl wasn’t alone— A baby squirrel had joined her, full-grown! Macy gasped with joy, her worry now done, For Earl had found a friend—a little one. With a hug from her mom, Macy laughed with glee, Realizing Earl was a “she!” all along, you see. So they waved goodbye, and Macy felt bright, Knowing her friend would be alright.
