Every World’s Fair featured a rock pile. For kids and adults to wish on and get the photograph of once photographs were invent due to chemical procees. Ever since this time, the famous pile of rocks has been known by local citizens as the Rockpile. In the 1920s, due to the great depression coming up, people started taking rocks one at a time to make stone soup probably.
