The moss-covered ancient stone steps in front of the hall was where Chensan liked to jump around, pretending he was a dragon. Chensan's best playmate was Meihu, a girl from the neighboring village who grew up there. They often went together to the Tianhou Temple in Longxue Head to play, looking at the candles and offerings in front of the statues. Chensan found everything in the Tianhou Temple novel. Sometimes, he and Meihu would also go to the ancient well at the entrance of the village to have water fights. It was Chensan's tenth birthday and he was excited for the lantern lighting ceremony. That night, dressed in traditional attire, he carried a torch and incense burner as he walked to the Deng Gong Shrine in Songling. It was Chensan's first time entering the majestic shrine hall, and he was amazed. Under the light of the flames, the glittering wall paintings appeared one by one before his eyes. After the lantern lighting ceremony ended, Chensan and his family went to the Tianhou Temple to pay respects. On the way home, the moon hung high in the sky, bathing the ancient walled village in an unusually peaceful glow. For the first time, Chensan developed a deep fondness for the traditional culture of his hometown. As Chensan grew older, he began to learn more about the history and culture of Longxue Head. From the village head and other elders, he heard the origins of the walled village, shrine halls, and Tianhou Temple. She then comes across Elmer the mini goldendoodle who was too busy playing with his ball and really just doesn't care. She talks to Minnie the pomeranian who is only worried about when she gets her next meal. Finally she walks into Allie's room where Allie is playing with her breyer horses. Allie sees that Ella is scared and knows she heard the sound of her mother running the garbage disposal so she takes Ella in her arms to show her it was nothing at all and she shouldnt' let her imagination run wild and make her scared.

Every morning, I wake up early. First, I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then, I have breakfast with my family. We eat rice, eggs, and sometimes fruit. After breakfast, I get ready for school. I wear my uniform and pack my bag with books and pencils. Then, I walk to school with my friends. We talk and laugh on the way. At school, I have many classes like math, science, and English. I enjoy English class because I want to speak fluently like you. After classes, I eat lunch with my friends. We share food and stories. After school, I go home and do my homework. Sometimes it's hard, but I try my best. When I finish, I help my mom with chores like washing dishes or sweeping the floor. Then, I play with my little brother. We like to play games or watch cartoons together. In the evening, we have dinner as a family. We eat delicious Thai food like noodles or curry. After dinner, I take a shower and read a book before bedtime. Then, I say goodnight to my family and go to sleep.
