In the land of Matterville, three best friends lived: Sol the Solid, Liq the Liquid, and Gas the Gas. One day, a curious girl named Mia wandered in. “Why is ice hard, water splashy, and air invisible?” she asked. Sol stood tall. “I’m solid because my particles stay close together,” he said. “I keep my shape, like rocks and ice.” Liq twirled. “I flow because my particles can move a bit, like water or juice!” Gas floated in. “I’m free to spread out! My particles zoom around, like air or steam.” Mia was amazed. “Can you change?” Gas puffed up. “We can! Watch!” He cooled down, turning into rain, then Liq turned into ice as the air got colder. “We’re all matter, just in different forms,” they said. Mia smiled. “Thanks! Now I understand matter!” The three friends waved goodbye, leaving Mia with a magical new lesson about the world around her.

The Turning Point: Feeling sad, Zian confides in a wise tortoise who asks him about what he loves most. Zian reveals his joy in running through the fields at sunrise. The Wisdom Shared: The tortoise explains that every animal has unique joys, and comparing oneself to others only steals happiness. She suggests Zian doesn’t need a partner to enjoy what he loves. Zian’s Realization: By embracing his own passions and surroundings, Zian discovers fulfillment. He sees the fields, wind, and sky as his perfect companions. A Happier Zian: Appreciating his uniqueness, Zian becomes brighter and more joyful, finding contentment in being himself. His friends notice his newfound happiness. A chubby, sunshine-yellow kitty pranced around the playground, blowing bubbles of all sizes. Soon enough, the school's furry friends joined in on the bubbly action. I was ecstatic, blowing bubbles left and right, spreading joy all day long. The kids couldn't get enough of those magical orbs, chasing them around and giggling like there was no tomorrow. Even the grown-ups paused to admire the beauty of the floating spheres. As the day went on, more and more kids joined in on the fun, trying to catch and pop the bubbles with their noses or by hand. It was a sight to behold, the playground brimming with pure joy and wonder. Finally, the yellow cat and other yello cat sat under a tree, basking in the warm sun, watching the bubbles fade away with the setting sun. It was a moment of pure joy and contentment, one that I will always treasure.

They decided to break the verse down to better understand it. 3.The verse started out "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [wiles of the devil. " John Jr asked Durga if he knew how to be strong in the Lord. Durga said that Your spirit thrives on being connected to the earth, the world around you and to others. 3. Then John Jr explored the meaning of the verse , "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Durga didn't understand the Flesh and blood part. John Jr explained that the battle is spiritual, not physical. He says that the enemies we face are not people or objects, but rather an unseen spiritual enemy. 4. The last part of the verse is "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." John Jr told Durga that they needed to stand against evil by Being Strong in the Lord., Standing on God's Word, Don't Lose Heart and Standing in Faith. 5. John Jr and Durga decide that they would try putting on the armor of God by reading and praying God's word, and remembering that God's righteousness protects them, and that they can have faith in his promises. John Jr and Durga decided that their daily practices would include prayer, scripture study, journaling, acts of kindness, exercise, and associating with friends of high standards

I love my tablet. I love playing games and watching videos. I love it so much I take it everywhere and use it all the time. My mummy does not like my tablet. She thinks I use it too much. She only thinks that because she never had a tablet when she was young. Today, I went to use my tablet and the power turned off. I couldn’t play any games. I couldn’t watch any videos, and my tablet was dying. What in the world am I to do? I’ll die of boredom for sure. Five minutes without my tablet and I was pacing the floor. I just don’t know what to do. Mummy walks by, and simply says “Go outside.” Go OUTSIDE? Is she out of her mind? I’ll get itchy, and dirty. And it’s SO HOT! No way. I can’t do that. Mummy starts to go on and on about how she would play when she was young but that doesn’t change my mind at all. Besides, she has so much to say about how she used to play but I don’t see her going outside. “Come,” She said. “Let me show you what it was like in the good ole’ days.” Mummy took me outside and my skin started to melt off my bones. The grass was already pricking my skin, and a rock rolled right into my Crocs. Mummy didn’t mind any of my cries, and started to show us all the joys of her old life. That day, we climbed the mango tree until my sister Jana scraped her knee. We played hopscotch on the concrete using rocks to draw on the street. Daddy taught us how to shoot marbles in the dirt. Johnny lost and was very hurt. We made mud-pies and fed them to all the guys. We spinned and sang to the beat of our own drum, There’s a brown girl in the ring. Sha-la-la-la-la. There’s a brown girl in the ring sha-la-la-la-la. There’s a brown girl in the ring sha-la-la-la-la. And she looks like a sugar and a plum, plum, PLUM. So soon, it was time to go inside. Mummy picked the prickles off of my pants as I tried not to cry. The power was back on, but it was not as fun. Mummy was really right about them good ole’ days.
