Near the edge of a city, on South Lafayette Street, sits a quaint little cottage and three apple trees. The walkway is lined with foliage galore, and there you'll find tulips, Russian sage, orange poppies and more! Many years ago the cottage was sold. The woman who'd owned it had gotten too old, to care for the flowers and bushes she'd planted, and the apples that grew were too much to handle. She needed someone who would pull all of the weeds, pick the ripe apples, and tidy the yard; well, what was the problem? That didn't sound hard! After eating the kelp, Shrimps finds himself on land, where he meets various creatures like Chippy the songbird, Squeaky the squirrel, and Woofy the dog, who introduce him to kindness and love. Shrimps learns valuable lessons about friendship and compassion during his time on land. He returns to the sea, spreading joy and warmth, and even helps Cranky find his lost shiny stone, showcasing his transformation. Shrimps finally embraces the concept of hugs and shares one with Fins, signifying his newfound kindness and empathy.

John Jr and Vasi decided to go to store to pick up something to feed the birds and a snack for themselves. When they got to store, John Jr and Vasi held door open for people. As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on. John Jr gave them a compliment. The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi. 3. John Jr shared a quote by Mark Twain "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see". John Jr and Vasi tell each other how easy it is to be kind 4. John Jr and Vasi saw a mom with 5 young kids struggling to push two carts to her car. John Jr and Vasi go over and push the 2nd cart and help keep the kids safe. At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts. The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought. 5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way. At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person. His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.
