Help my children feel at ease while they know what I’m doing this weekend as I go away from them for the first time. Tell them about how I’m going to be so sad and miss them as I leave the house. How I think about them all the time I’m gone. How I get an uber to the airport, then go through airport security and sit at the lounge before getting on an Air New Zealand plane and fly to Queenstown. How happy I am to be reunited with all my best friends. We are all mums leaving our kids for the first time so we all FaceTime our kids and miss them a lot. And talk about how proud we are of them. Then we have a Mexican night dinner. Then we do a dance class. And after 2 nights away of having fun, I’m so excited to go to the airport and fly back to sydney. Meanwhile Dadda is spoiling them with fun treats like burgers and chips, and taking them to soccer and swimming classes, and even a friends birthday party. They get to watch TV and have so much fun jumping on the bed and being silly with Dadda. Then how I get reunited with my boys Teddy and Max and I’m so happy I could cry with joy.

Jasper sang a soothing song to calm the little bird, and Avreen promised to help it find its way home. With their combined efforts, the bird soon felt better and was able to flutter back to its family, chirping happily. The friends cheered and celebrated their good deed, their laughter echoing through the garden. As the sun set, painting the sky with hues of pink and gold, Elara and her friends lay back on the blanket, gazing up at the stars. They talked about their dreams and plans for future adventures, knowing that together, they could face any challenge and spread joy wherever they went. And so, the cute little princess and her friends continued their delightful adventures, bringing happiness to everyone they met and filling their days with magic and laughter.

Mom and Dad’s incredible journey begins in Portugal, where they meet in 2019 at a 3D design course—Mom was 28 and teaching interior design classes, and Dad, 27, was dreaming of becoming an architect in Canada. Two years later, they become permanent residents and buy a cozy apartment near Gateway Station in Surrey in 2023. By 2024, their lives take a magical turn—Mom is pregnant! On October 24, baby David is born, a healthy 4.5 kg bundle of joy. Mom’s parents fly in from Portugal to help, while Dad’s parents adore David from afar.
