She stepped into an old house, hidden in a forest, the air thick and heavy. Despite the darkness, she could see, familiar with its every corner. A constant buzzing followed her, like invisible bees. Desperate for silence, she covered her ears, but the sound persisted. Approaching a large, dirty window, she pushed aside a heavy curtain. Outside, cold, uninviting trees surrounded the house. A feeling stirred within her, to venture outside, but she resisted. Peering into the darkness, a faint rainbow appeared above the trees. It was not bright or full, but it was there, almost as heavy as her heart. Realizing her clenched fists, she understood the rainbow was her own creation, a manifestation of her inner light, a symbol of hope and exhaustion. Amazed at her power to create light, colors, a rainbow with her thoughts, a small smile formed on her lips. Letting the curtain fall, she sat on the bed, her mind full of thoughts, wondering if other people’s brains held such wonders.

Arlo is a small and kind dinosaur who loves playing with his two best friends, Max and Buck. Max is strong and adventurous, while Buck is silly but always supportive. John Jr and Vasi decided to go to store to pick up something to feed the birds and a snack for themselves. When they got to store, John Jr and Vasi held door open for people. As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on. John Jr gave them a compliment. The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi. 3. John Jr shared a quote by Mark Twain "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see". John Jr and Vasi tell each other how easy it is to be kind 4. John Jr and Vasi saw a mom with 5 young kids struggling to push two carts to her car. John Jr and Vasi go over and push the 2nd cart and help keep the kids safe. At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts. The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought. 5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way. At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person. His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.

Ezra, Leo, Mummy and Daddy were having breakfast. Ezra was eating peanut butter on toast with honey. Leo had thrown his food all over the floor. Once he had finished breakfast Ezra jumped up and said "Pirate 3 eyes, Pirate 1 eye, Pirate smelly pants - its time for a pirate adventure". They drove down to the Thames where their pirate ship was moored next to big ben. They got changed into their pirate outfits and set sail. They sailed for many days through all kinds of weather. Then on day 4 Ezra climbed to the very top of the mast, he got out his golden telescope, and peered through it. In the distance he could see another pirate ship heading towards them. He shouted down to Leo, Mummy and Daddy "Watch out - another pirate ship is coming". The family got ready. Daddy put on a suit of armor. Leo pulled down his pants and wiggled his bottom. Mummy got on a horse. And Ezra launched his drone. As the pirate ship approached they could see it had 20 pirates on board. They all had beards and patches on their eyes. They looked scary. They were also drinking a lot of rum so were quite dizzy. The pirate ship got close and closer. When it was very close Ezra shouted "Sink that ship". The family sprang into action. Ezra launched his drone and flew it into the side of the other pirate ship making a big hole in it. Mummy, riding her horse, jumped onto the other pirate ship and knocked lots of the pirates overboard. Daddy, wearing a suit of armor, swam to the other pirate ship, climbed up the side, and smashed down the sails. And Leo carried on wiggling his naked bottom at them. Soon the other pirate ship began to sink. Ezra shouted "Get the treasure". Ezra, Leo, Mummy and Daddy all climbed onto the pirate ship and grabbed all the treasure. They got a huge treasure chest full of diamonds and crystals, gold coins, gold cups, gold plates, necklaces and bracelets. They jumped back on board their own pirate ship as the other pirate ship sank to the bottom of the sea.

Oliver is a small, friendly duck who loves to swim and play at the pond with his friends. However, one day, a group of bully geese arrives at the pond, honking loudly, chasing the smaller animals, and making everyone feel scared and upset. Oliver tries to avoid them, but when the geese begin picking on his best friend, a shy turtle named Timmy, Oliver decides he can’t stay quiet anymore. Though Oliver is smaller than the geese, he stands up to them by using his wits and kindness instead of fighting back. He shows the geese how their bullying behavior is hurting others and offers them a chance to join in on the fun instead of ruining it. In the end, the geese realize that being kind is much more rewarding than being mean, and they all become friends.

Page 5: When we came home, we got put in a cage. We were nervous. The cage was bigger than the old one we used to live in. Page 6: Our first morning, we woke up to a huge salad in a bowl. We ate all of it in just a few minutes. Page 7: Our human friends like to call us the two little Pigs. But sometimes we scratch and squeal too loud, it makes them upset. They forgive us, and we forgive them though. Page 8: We love all of the humans that come to visit us. You can come see us and we will jump and squeal.
