Sally Snail must overcome an obstacle after moving in to her first home. She wants independence. Sally can’t get the mail at her new house because the mailbox is too tall. She asks for help from her 3 friends: Bailey Bear, Damien Dog, Timothy Turtle. Ben the Bear is a friend of Sally’s, but has been disabled his whole life. He tries to find a way to help his friend reach the mailbox. His wheelchair is to big to help lift her up to the mailbox. Damien Dog has been blind for all his life. He is a close friend of Sally's . He has great ideas, but feels unhelpful because he is blind. He is the strongest one of the friends. Timmy the Turtle has Autism. He acts very strange and knows it. He is the smartest of the friends. He can come up with a plan to get Sally to her mail, but he does not have the strength to lift heavy objects. He has been teased all his life, but feels comfortable with his friends. He comes up with a plan to build a ramp so Sally can get her mail.

This story is designed to showcase the loving bond between a grandmother and her grandson, using playful competitions as a way to strengthen their connection and celebrate the joy of spending time together.

One evening, as the sun set, Sewit noticed Kudus was missing. ________________________________________ Sewit: "Luwam, Kudus is gone again!" Luwam: (worried) "Oh no! It’s getting dark. Let’s take the lantern and find him." ________________________________________ They searched the village, asking everyone if they had seen Kudus, but no one had. Sewit: "He must be in the woods. We have to go!" Luwam: (nervous) "The woods are scary at night!" Sewit: "Don’t worry. We’ll stay together." ________________________________________ The sisters held the lantern tightly as they entered the dark forest. The trees swayed, and strange sounds filled the air. Suddenly, Luwam pointed. "Look! Over there!" Under a big tree, Kudus sat holding a shiny rock that glowed faintly. ________________________________________ Sewit: (relieved) "Kudus! Why did you run off?" Kudus: (innocently) "I saw this glowing rock and wanted to follow it." Luwam: "You scared us! Don’t run away like that again." Kudus: (looking down) "I didn’t think you’d miss me." Sewit: (hugging him) "Of course we’d miss you. We love you, Kudus. We’re stronger when we stick together." ________________________________________ The three of them held hands and walked home, the lantern lighting their way. Kudus never wandered off alone again, knowing his sisters would always look out for him.

Little Miss. Ella loves sweets more than anything! She has a big jar at home filled with all her favorite treats. She loves chocolates, gummies, and icecream. June grinned, chocolate still on her face. “Okay, Ella, I promise I’ll ask next time.” Then she looked at Mocha. “And you, no more sneaking my reeses cup from under the bed!” Mocha wagged her tail happily, and Ella gave her a big hug. With everything solved, Ella sat down and enjoyed one of her recess cups. “Now that I’ve found all my sweets, I can finally have one!”
