1. John Jr and Jade was studying Jesus' stance about being authentic and read in Luke 12:2 that Jesus said "You can't keep your true self hidden forever; before long yu'll be exposed." Jesus urged people t admit to our own flaws and imperfections, as well as being forthright with others and seeking God for help with or flaws. John Jr and Jade wanted to be more authentic or real. 2. John Jr and Jade discovered that God doesn't make mistakes and since they were made by God that they were perfect the way they are.. they understood that being lwith a ack of self-esteem, fear of judgment by others, and a strong desire for others to be like was harmful at trying to be authentic. John Jr and Jade decided to live life according to their own values and goals, rather than those of other people would help them be more authentic. 3. Granny always tell John Jr an Jade to " Keep it Real" when they are not playing and have to be around others. Granny explained that "Keeping it real" was when you try to Be True to Yourself, have Self-Awareness., Show Vulnerability, Admit Mistakes, Build Genuine Relationships, Practice Integrity, Value Others. Lex was watching me teach Jens to climb the rope net. I wasn’t holding him but guiding his next step. Lex says “why do you always let go of people when they are doing hard things on the playground when they need help?” (Him referencing Jens struggling on the net calling for my help). I said “it’s so that you learn to do hard things without me”. Lex says, “Oh, I don’t want to do hard things.” 😆 Later, Jens get on the ropes again and calls for help. I encourage him that he can do it while watching from afar. And then he does it! All by himself! At the top Jens yells “I did it!” Jumps up and down and Lex says “Oh that’s why you let us do hard things.” 🥲" I could go on and on about how amazing Ava is as a nanny and what a blessing she is to raising my little men, and she is SUCH a huge blessing and incredible woman, but instead I can't help but see the parallel of that story and the role God has in our lives. I can't tell you how often I wish my lifelong trial would be over and how often I literally ask God why he is making me go through all this pain even I KNOW he could take it away... Then I remember the little and big wins along the way and the things I have learned and gained because of pain I am constantly in. God absolutely tells me where to step, but I haven't ever experienced the feeling of him completely lifting me to the top of the playground. I feel him watching me and cheering me along. Then I do something impossible and I jump up and down with joy saying "I did it!" and I know he's so proud of me. And just like little Lex I think to myself, "Oh that’s why you let us do hard things." Let's not forget to let God guide us. Thank God for the miracles we experience every day

Sydney is relieved, and as they watch, the cocoon moves, and a beautiful butterfly emerges. John explains that the butterfly should be set free, and although Sydney is reluctant, she agrees and watches as the butterfly flies away.

Page 9: Grandpa Owl, perched on a nearby branch, looked down at Milo with pride. Page 10: Milo climbed up the ladder and into his treehouse, his whiskers twitching with joy. From the little window, he could see the whole backyard, the sun shining through the trees, and Grandpa Owl watching from below. Page 11: Milo leaned back, his paws behind his head, feeling peaceful and proud on the wooden floor. Page 12: And so, Milo the mouse lived happily

Undeterred, they decided to follow the foxes. They trailed them through a winding path and into a dark cave. There, in the center of the cave, was their missing picnic basket! The foxes had stolen it to have a feast of their own. Quackers and Bao were furious. They charged at the foxes, quacking and growling. The foxes were taken by surprise and quickly surrendered. With their picnic basket safely retrieved, Quackers and Bao rushed back to the park. They spread out their blanket once again and enjoyed their well-deserved feast. As they ate their delicious snacks and sipped on their lemonade, they couldn't help but laugh at their adventure. They had solved a mystery, outsmarted the foxes, and had a wonderful picnic in the beautiful park.
