It's about an adorable brown chick, so small and sweet, that he fits snugly in the palm of my hand. When he’s hungry for worms to eat, with his dainty feet, he pecks and scrapes at the land. He flutters his tiny wings, and says “Chirp-chirp”, yet, he's wary of any hawk!

Principal Baure works at Upper Merion Area School District which is a state of the art school. All the classrooms have all glass walls. It is a futuristic school. The Magic of Nature One sunny morning, Lily and her little brother Tom went to the park with their Grandpa. As they walked, Grandpa smiled and said, “Do you know that everything around us is connected?” Tom looked around. “What do you mean, Grandpa?” Grandpa pointed to the sky. “Look at the air. We breathe it to stay alive, and so do the animals and plants!” Lily took a deep breath. “Wow! So air helps us all!” Grandpa nodded. “And water is just as important. It gives us something to drink, helps plants grow, and provides a home for fish and frogs!” Tom ran to a small pond and saw ducks swimming. “Water is amazing!” Next, Grandpa bent down and picked up a handful of soil. “Soil helps plants grow. Without it, trees, flowers, and food plants wouldn’t grow!” Lily looked at the green grass and trees. “And plants give us food, shade, and air to breathe!” Grandpa smiled. “Yes! And animals? They help nature too! Birds spread seeds, bees help flowers grow, and animals keep the forest healthy.” Tom laughed as he saw a squirrel running up a tree. “Everything works together!” Grandpa nodded. “Yes! That’s why we must take care of our air, water, soil, plants, and animals. They make the world a happy and healthy place!” Lily and Tom promised to always respect nature. As they walked home, they felt grateful for the wonderful world around them. The End.

A girl and boy have a friend in their 2nd grade class that visits throughout the day at different times, the friend just so happens to have autism. The boy sees a rocket being launched in the TV. He wants to make his own rocket. He looks around for cylindrical objects and his father's workshop and find some cylindrical cardboard box. He paints it using his crayons and paint brush. He creates a rainbow colored rocket. Next heat thinks about how to launch it. The experiments with throwing it up in the air, experiments catapulting it into the air, experiments with throwing it from the balcony, nothing works and he gets discouraged. He didn't remember his father saying PET BE POSITIVE, MAKE IT EASY AND TRY. So he reminds himself of all the different successful experiments he has done in the past like making a castle, making a wheelbarrow, making a fishing rod. He then thinks how he can make his project easy and gets to trying again. He then lands up with launching the rocket by using the air coming out of the air pump piston that his father uses to fill up his bike's tire
